Monique has always been artistic and creative. However life in general intruded and prevented her from doing it full time. Therefore in 2017 when she retired she chose to re-locate to Elliot Lake and join the Art's Club. There immersed in the talent and support of fellow artists she finally had the opportunity to flourish and continue to learn and grow. Even though Monique works with many different mediums, currently she enjoys sculpting the most. Whether clay, soapstone armature or wood her passion shines through. Proud moments include: being accepted for the 2018 Arts on the Trail show and having her work displayed at the Elliot Lake Art Gallery.
Phil is an all around artist. He was founder and owner of Creative Designs by Phil making one of a kind gemstone jewellery. He won an across Canada contest for one of his designs. "When I custom make a piece”, says Phil, “my passion for gemstones is infectious thereby not only creating an original piece but a complete and unparalleled event, a piece that represents the strength and resiliency or one that reflects your thoughts, feelings, or your inner self or the bond you share with special people.”
After moving to Elliot Lake he took up pottery and soapstone carving. He brings the same passion and attention to details to these art forms that he has always been know for.
Every piece we make is hand built, unique and one of a kind. We are versatile and eclectic. We enjoy realism, impressionism, surrealism and sometimes just outright zany-ism.
